KJV Gifts - Coffee Mug - Psalm 57:4 - King James Version | Nashville Christian Family Magazine August 2023 issue - free Christian magazine

Good question.

In the middle of a family crisis, I personally needed some extra encouragement from the Word of God. So did the family members involved in that particular crisis. Thus, the short book, Lord, Help! was birthed. It contains about a hundred favorite Bible verses, give or take a few.

Over several days, as I spent time with The Lord, I pondered over things that would increase my faith. It always came back to more Bible equals more faith. I could see and hear the following question in my mind everywhere I went. “What better way to add in the Bible than putting verses on individual items we all use daily?”

Think about this: What if you could start your toddler off with a stainless steel mug with Scripture and read it to him or her every time they took a sip of milk, juice, or water?

Do you think that small thing could change their life? Or the life of an older child or even yourself? “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:” ~ Isaiah 28:10

The typical person looking for a specific KJV verse on a gift item has a very good reason to choose that particular verse. Not just ‘cause their friend or family member liked that verse.

Some of the reasons I’ve heard that makes a favorite verse a favorite verse include:

“It encourages me.”

“It calms me down.”

“It reminds me of Who I belong to.”

“It reminds me of God’s love for me.”

“It helps my faith grow.”

“It gives me hope when I need it the most.”

“It speaks to my heart like nothing else.”

“It helps me in the storms that come my way.”

There was a big problem in finding that specific verse for that specific person on an item, like a mug, to use daily, personally, or as a gift, like for a secret pal gift or baby gift.

God planted the seed for KJV.Gifts in my heart. I could not get away from it so I’m running with it and designing mugs and other items with KJV verses. God also instructed me to give away the free newsletter, The Encourager. It’s full of stories and Bible puzzles you are welcome to use.

After all, what could be better than relaxing in your favorite spot, sipping a cup of coffee in your favorite verse mug, and reading a Christian novel at the same time?

Be blessed in The Name of Jesus. I know I am!
