The tradition continues as Sunday Mornin’ Country® returns to the legendary Grand Ole Opry® House for its 44th year, bringing together the best in Country and Gospel artists for an uplifting, familyfriendly celebration. Scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026, this cherished Nashville event invites fans from around the world to experience an unforgettable afternoon of inspirational music, faith, and fellowship.
The historic Grand Ole Opry® House provides the perfect backdrop for this special gathering. For generations, the iconic Opry circle has been home to Country Music legends, and once again it will host an extraordinary blend of acclaimed artists and rising stars sharing songs of hope and encouragement.
The afternoon begins with a WarmUp at 3:30 PM, leading into the main program at 4:00 PM. The warmup features soloists and performances by The Country Chorale®, directed by Mark Thomas. This ninetyvoice choir is made up of Christian Country and Gospel artists from across the United States and around the world. Joined by music students from Carpe Arista Academy, The Country Chorale® will present a special tribute celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry®, a milestone in Nashville’s rich musical history.
This year’s lineup includes an impressive mix of legendary performers and exciting new talent. Featured artists include Jimmy Fortune, Hall of Fame member and former Statler Brothers vocalist; John McEuen, cofounder of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band; Charlie McCoy, Country Music Hall of Famer, Grand Ole Opry® member, and renowned harmonica virtuoso; and beloved Grand Ole Opry® member Mandy Barnett. Also returning are Christian Country artist and television host Melanie Walker and Grammy Award winner John Berry, both delivering powerful messages through song.
Making their Sunday Mornin’ Country® debut are Cassidy Daniels, a finalist on CBS’s The Road, and Aubrey Nicole, a finalist from NBC’s The Voice. Patriotism remains a central element of the program, with Nikki Headley performing the National Anthem, joined by patriotic selections from longtime favorites The Tennessee River Boys and The Fox Brothers.
Fans of bluegrass will enjoy the highenergy sounds of Cutter & Cash and The Kentucky Grass, whose footstomping banjo and fiddle performances consistently bring the house down. Additional artists include Leon Everett, Adam Warner, Cowboy.

Founded in 1980 by Cowboy Joe Babcock and fellow artists, Sunday Mornin’ Country® was created as a nondenominational worship service to close out what is now CMA Music Fest. Today, it remains a meaningful tradition, leaving audiences with a lasting, uplifting memory of Nashville.
