The tradition continues! Sunday Mornin’ Country® returns to the Grand Ole Opry® House this year with another full lineup of the best Country and Gospel Music artists who will be bringing songs of inspiration in a wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere. People from everywhere are invited to experience an unforgettable celebration of music featuring a dynamic lineup of acclaimed artists and rising stars.
The 44th Annual Sunday Mornin’ Country® is scheduled for June 7, 2026. The Grand Ole Opry® House is truly a distinguished and historic venue where many giants of Country Music have stood in the iconic circle to perform their classic hits or to sing a favorite country or gospel song.
With a blend of great country and gospel artist, Sunday Mornin’ Country is a can’t -miss event that promises something for everyone.
The program gets underway at 4:00 PM with a rousing warm-up beginning at 3:30 PM. This additional pre-show bonus features soloists and performances by The Country Chorale®, directed by Mark Thomas.
This ninety-voice choir is made up of Christian Country and Gospel artist who come from all over the United States and around the world to be a part of this iconic event. To honor the 100th Year Anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry®. The Country Chorale® featuring music students from Carpe Arista Academy will perform a tribute to celebrate this special time in Nashville’s history.
This year’s featured lineup includes some fresh faces, as well as several renowned Pop, Country Music and Gospel artist, including Hall of Fame Member and former member of the Statler Brothers, Jimmy Fortune.
Legendary Nitty Gritty Dirt Band co-founder, John McEuen, will join us again. Country Music Hall of Famer, Grand Ole Opry® member, and Harmonica Virtuoso, Charlie McCoy will be back, as well as Grand Ole Opry® member and one of Nashville’s most valued treasures, Mandy Barnett.
Christian Country Music artist and television host, Melanie Walker will be performing, as well as Grammy Award winner, John Berry. Both top artists are returning to deliver their strong and powerful messages in song.
Performing on our stage for the first time this year is Cassidy Daniels, a finalist on the popular CBS series, The Road. Also, joining us with a special song is Aubrey Nicole, a finalist from this season’s NBC program, The Voice.
Patriotism and the American spirit are always important elements at Sunday Morin’ County. Nikki Headley will perform the National Anthem. Other artists performing patriotic renditions include a Sunday Mornin’ Country staple, The Tennessee River Boys and The Fox Brothers, who have been a part of Sunday Mornin’ Country® since the beginning.
Naturally, the show would not be complete without some foot-stomping banjo-picking, fiddle-playing bluegrass music! Cutter & Cash and The Kentucky Grass are back bringing their foot-stomping banjo-picking, fiddle-playing bluegrass music! These young guys always bring the house down!
Besides the performers mentioned above, other wonderful country and gospel artists scheduled to appear include Leon Everett, Adam Warner, Cowboy Joe & Trail Jazz, The Music City Quartet, Dianne Sherrill, Makenzie Phipps, Mike Scott, and of course, the Sunday Mornin’ Country® Band.
