We have all been created with a tugging on our soul!  The desire to give our hearts fully to something greater than ourselves.

God has created us with an innate need to give devotion and affection to something more than ourselves.  The question is, what are we giving our attention to?

When God doesn’t have our affection, we use other things to fill the space, i.e., money, success, relationships, control, addictions, and on and on.  There will always be a myriad of distractions.

Paul explains that humanity doesn’t stop worshiping, we simply redirect it. If we are not giving it to God, it doesn’t go away, it simply attaches itself to something else.

“They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served

created things rather than the Creator”. (Romans 1:25)

We must trust that the One who has formed us and made us, also knows what will fulfill us.

God is calling us back to true worship.

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers

will worship the Father, in the Sprit and in truth.  (John 4:23)

Worship is not just something we do on an occasion; it is who we are.  It is not about music or posture but an alignment of bringing our hearts back to the One we were made for.

We are most alive, most free, and most whole when we worship our Heavenly Father.  When our worship returns Him, our soul will find rest.

As we step into the new year, let us enter into true worship – placing God at the center – and watch Him shape 2026, into a year marked by purpose, peace, and His presence.

“Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory” (Isaiah 43:7)
