New Year, New Product, & Celebrating America
It feels like every year flies by faster than the last. Can you believe it’s already 2026? Where are the flying cars we were promised? According to Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part II, they should have been here 11 years ago! This September will mark 25 years since the tragic events of 9/11—a moment that changed the world forever. And in just three short years, we’ll reach the centennial of the Great Depression. Time has a way of reminding us how quickly history moves and how much the world changes along the way, but one thing hasn’t changed, Jesus. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (ESV). Isn’t that magnificent?
Here at Swanson Christian Products we believe that God should be in everything we do. Clifford E. Swanson, my great grandfather, was inspired by God to write His Word on wall plaques and crosses 91 years ago. That inspiration, desire, that dream, is still alive today in the Swanson Family and we wouldn’t be successful without the love and support from our customers. We have been blessed to expand Cliffords dream to additional products. Including: pens, vinyl decals, shawls, bracelets, tissues, apparel, and so on. Deuteronomy 6:4-8 states, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the Lord is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates” (NIV). In the world we live in today, in the country we live in, we have the opportunity to place plaques in our homes with scriptures as a reminder of Christ, to wear jewelry, hats, and ties to share the Gospel, and to gift Christian items to friends and family. We are blessed. Let us not forget the power of the living Word of God.
