“I hit rock bottom. I was at my lowest. I was homeless. I was living in my car. I didn’t have much hope. I just have faith in God, and I just heard about the Salvation Army from another person that I knew on the streets.”

That was the heartbreaking situation Baron found himself in not long ago. But after entering our Supportive Housing program, his life began to turn around.

“I had a good team that was working with me here at The Salvation Army. They were checking on me. They would make sure, you know, my mental health was in a good state, which it was.”

With a sense of peace and God’s presence, Baron began attending church services and diligently applying for jobs. “During the first few days, I would go to church, and then I would just apply for jobs, and things started happening. I developed this sense of peace, and I felt God. “

Today, Baron’s life has been transformed. “I’m rejuvenated, restored and stable,” he rejoices. “If you need help and sincerely want to change your life come to The Salvation Army. You won’t regret it.”
