(June 2026) Dr. Ming Wang, Harvard & MIT graduate (MD, magna cum laude) and one of the few laser eye surgeons in the world today who holds a PhD in laser physics, announced today that the Angel Studios’ film “Sight” (FREE link: sight.drmingwang.com), which has won the Best Picture at ICVM International Christian Film Award, has been banned in China.

“Sight” is based on Dr. Wang’s autobiography “From Darkness to Sight”, and his faith journey is also featured in the award-winning Christina film “God’s Not Dead”.

About Dr. Ming Wang, MD, PhD

As a teenager, Ming fought hardship in his childhood and came to America with only $50 and earned two doctorate degrees, one in laser physics and one in medicine, and graduated with the highest honors from Harvard Medical School and MIT.
