SADDLE UP, COWBOYS and COWGIRLS!  This year marks our 4th Annual CFRC Rodeo, bringing Middle Tennessee together for a weekend packed with excitement, family fun, and community pride. Hosted by Community Foundation of Rutherford County, the event has quickly become one of the region’s most anticipated gatherings, drawing people from counties all across Middle Tennessee. The rodeo action is thrilling, but the mission behind the event is what truly makes it special.

The CFRC Rodeo is presented by the legendary Lone Star Rodeo Company, known for seventy-seven years of wholesome, family-friendly entertainment. Lone Star delivers seasoned competitors, skilled performers, and classic rodeo events like bull riding, barrel racing, and team roping. Families get to experience the excitement and skill of talented cowboys and cowgirls while soaking in the energy of a true rodeo tradition.

But the fun and excitement aren’t just in the arena. Food trucks, western wear booths, and a variety of local vendors line the corridor, giving guests plenty of options to eat, shop, and explore. From handmade crafts to kids’ activities, there’s something for everyone. Each year, familiar favorites return alongside new attractions, creating a lively festival-like atmosphere families look forward to every time.

Key sponsors play a huge role in making the CFRC Rodeo possible. Swanson Companies, National Healthcare Corporation, Rollins Excavating, and Middle Tennessee State University all help keep the event accessible, fun, and high-quality. Their support reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Rutherford and Cannon Counties while supporting local charitable efforts.

The CFRC Rodeo is about more than just entertainment, it’s about giving back. Proceeds support Community Foundation of Rutherford County’s mission to make Rutherford and Cannon Counties stronger and provide a way to create lasting gifts for local nonprofits. The foundation’s purpose is simple: to promote philanthropy by identifying and addressing current and future community needs, ensuring a brighter, more resilient Middle Tennessee for years to come.

Behind the scenes, our Board of Directors, along with our Guild members, volunteer their time and talents to bring the rodeo to life. They help with everything from planning and organization to ticketing and hospitality, making sure everyone has a smooth, enjoyable experience. Their dedication reflects the heart of the foundation: neighbors helping neighbors and coming together for a shared vision of a thriving community.
