Did you know that October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month? Did you know that we donate a portion of every clean, every day, year-round to the Ms. Molly Foundation (a 501(c)3 organization); a foundation started by Molly Maid in 1996 to connect local franchises to local domestic violence shelters?
Domestic violence occurs in every culture, country, community and age group. It affects people from every socioeconomic, educational and religious backgrounds. Children are also affected by domestic violence, even if they are not abused or do not witness it directly.
Once again, this October we are asking our clients and anyone else who would like to contribute, to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the MS Molly Foundation. For each donation of $25 or more, we will place your name in a drawing for a free Molly Maid housecleaning!! The drawing will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of December! 100% of your financial donation will stay here locally as we support a shelter in Williamson County called Bridges of Williamson County.
We are so proud of what Molly Maid and the Ms. Molly Foundation has achieved over the last 31 years, and we hope that through continued awareness, one day this violence will end. Until then, we appreciate your support!
You can participate by returning your check payable to the Ms. Molly Foundation either with your Home Service Professional or by mail at our address 4606 Hwy 100 Lyles TN 37098 You may also choose to visit our website at www.mollymaid.com and click on the Ms. Molly logo to make your online donation.
If you are concerned that someone close to you is being abused or has been sexually assaulted, you can share this resource and encourage them to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline available 24 hours a day at (800) 799-SAFE.
Respectfully,
Daron and Maricela Farrar and your Molly Maid Team
