DRESS…appropriately.
In the world where we live…there is etiquette about being dressed for the different occasions…although we have seen major changes in business dress…and even in worship services. We senior citizens remember when wearing your best on Sundays was the dress code for church attendance.
Our Scripture reference for TODAY reminds us to obey God’s dress code. Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another…because God is opposed to the proud…but the Lord gives grace to the humble.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, we know that You inspired Peter to write those words. Fashions come and go with the seasons…and with the culture…but we know that we know that You are the Absolute Authority on how we should think and live. You are not concerned about our attire…but…the content of our heart as we “live and breathe” through You…and thanks to You.
