In the busy hustle and bustle of life, we take a moment this month to celebrate moms. In Proverbs 31:25-30 the Bible states “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” This Mother’s Day, let’s be thankful for the blessing it is to have a mother, to have learned from a mother, to be a mother.
Our family encourages you to take a few moments to share and reflect on your mothers’ contributions to your life. As our family does this also, we wish to share about the legacy our mother, Flo Swanson, has left us as she crossed over into Heaven on February 8, 2024. She is a quiet, gentle and kind woman who saw her upmost purpose in life was to pray for the salvation of her family and anyone the Holy Spirit brought across her path. She is an encourager, nurturer and confidant both spiritually and as a human being. She is missed very much, but we look forward to being reunited with her in Heaven at our appointed time.
