To jumpstart this initiative, Darrell Waltrip Subaru has contributed $12,000 to the fund. Our partnership with One Generation Away spans over a decade, and we have had the privilege of working with this organization on numerous efforts to address food insecurity in our communities. One Generation Away, founded in 2013, specializes in repurposing surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, farms, and caterers, redistributing it to families experiencing food insecurity. Over the years, Darrell Waltrip Subaru and One Generation Away have collaborated on a number of initiatives, including the Drive Away Hunger Challenge and food drives during Easter and Thanksgiving.
