It is a new and exciting year, fresh beginnings!   One idea to help make 2025 a banner year, if you haven’t already, is to dedicate your home to the Lord.  As a realtor, I always encourage my clients, whether it is their first home or their tenth, to dedicate their home to the Lord.  There is something special about making a conscious decision to invite the Lord to reign in your home, His presence fills the air!  We have always done this in my own family.  Our goal is that everyone that walks through our front door will experience the presence of God and His love.

If you have small children, they can be involved in the dedication as well.  You can anoint oil on the door frame and pray through every room.

Below are a few Scriptures for you to get started, as you will have your own to add to the list as well.  The Bible is full of wonderful inspiration.

(Isaiah 32:18) My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and is sure dwellings, and in quite resting places.

(Joshua 24:15) As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

(Psalms 127:1-2) Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: Except the LORD keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: For so he giveth his beloved sleep.

(Psalms 121:7-8)The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

(Proverbs 3:5-6) Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

If you haven’t already done so, you may want to choose one of these Scriptures or find another one that becomes your own family Scripture and hang it as well as teach it to your household.

Hope 2025 is a wonderful year for you and your family, filled with God’s presence.
