Friends having coffee | Nashville Christian Family Magazine August 2023 issue - free Christian magazine

In today’s society, many people are confused and misled by a world that is searching for the Truth. Too often our voices remain silent, stifled by uncertainty. What should our response as Christians be?

We hope you will make plans to join us for the 2023 Defending Truth Apologetics Conference to learn how to reach others and defend your faith respectfully from leading Christian apologists including Frank Turek (https://crossexamined.org/dr-frank-turek/), J. Warner Wallace (www.coldcasechristianity.com), and Alisa Childers (https://alisachilders.com/). Together, these Christian leaders will help you learn to confidently defend your faith and explore important truths about cultural issues.

“Apologetics is defined as ‘a formal argumentation in defense of something, such as a position or system,’ and is often thought of by Christians as an evangelism tool used by really smart people to argue with other really smart people. But, in reality, apologetics is a discipleship tool with which every Christian should be familiar,” says Troy Miller, President & CEO of NRBTV.

“Today’s culture is crying out for answers to the questions that define a person’s view on life, economics, science, politics, freedom, and, of course, sin,” he adds. “We live in a time when it is more important than ever for Christians to know what they believe and to be able to effectively communicate their faith.”

Defending Truth Conference

The theme for this year’s conference is “Defending Truth in a Culture of Lies.” The event will be held Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9 in Lebanon, TN at The Journey Church. This conference will help enable people in all stages of life to share their faith and give reasonable answers for what they believe to colleagues in the workplace, friends in the neighborhood, or family members. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
