Invariably we all experience life in the middle. On the Bridges set, I can’t tell how you how many in the middle conversations that I’ve had. Guests have been in the middle of moving – in the middle of looking for a new job – in the middle of a family dispute etc.
I Want to Know NOW
There is just something about our human nature that longs to know how things will turn out. We just want to know. If you’re like me, you want to know NOW.
Here are a couple of secrets I’ve learned about being in the middle that may encourage your heart.
You Are Not Alone
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

The Middle is Filled with Purpose
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
This Too Shall Pass
Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, He does.
I Peter 5:10-11 The Message
You may be in the middle right now but just like 1 Peter 5:-10-11 says He will put you together and on your feet for good. He (God) gets the last word – Yes, He does. This knowledge brings joy and comfort to all believers – even when we feel “stuck in the middle”.
It’s Going to Get Messy
At WHTN we are in the middle right now too. We are in the middle of a studio makeover. The studio makeover is going to get messy at times, but the end result will be a brand-new studio so we can bring you the very best content and quality media. It is because of your faithfulness that we can renovate the WHTN studio.
We’re calling this project Monica in the Middle of a Studio Makeover. You’ll be getting a behind-the-scenes look at our work in the studio. We’ll bring you in on the building of our new sets – the new cameras and even the messy things that happen in the middle. We want you to share in the excitement and pray with us.
