A Holiday Adventure for the Whole Family at the Wonders Center & Science Museum
At just seven years old, David Rives began collecting fossils he discovered in his own backyard in Tennessee. Fascinated by the wonders of God’s creation, he carefully placed his treasures in a tackle box and proudly called his collection “David’s Museum.” Little did he know that his childhood curiosity and passion for scientific discovery would one day grow into something extraordinary.
Today, that little tackle box has become the inspiration behind the Wonders Center & Science Museum, a 100,000-square-foot destination in Dickson, Tennessee, one of the largest faith and family attractions in the world and the largest science museum in the state.
Founded by David Rives, the Wonders Center invites families to explore the incredible beauty, complexity, and design of God’s creation through science, history, and hands-on discovery, all from a biblical worldview. Just 35 minutes west of downtown Nashville, it’s a place where faith and science come together, inspiring visitors of all ages to discover the fingerprints of our Creator throughout the world around us.
