Many times, it seems when we seek God for answers, He is far from us. We may think he does not hear us, and our prayers are not getting above the ceilings. I have good news! God is inside of us and very present. He is not far away. He is always ready to listen when we speak. Secondly, our prayers do not need to get above the ceilings, we speak to our Spirit inside of us.
Psalm 46:1, tell us “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. God is already there, fully available and reliably present.
We often relate to God as if He is far away in the distant and we must summons Him to show up. If we have been born again, the very Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of us. God has placed His Spirit inside of us and has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings. Ephesians 1:3 tells us, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS in heavenly places in Christ.
Paul explains those blessings in the rest of his letter to the Ephesians, which includes, being chosen and loved by God, adopted as His child, redeemed and forgiven, grace lavished on us, revelation and spiritual understanding, an eternal inheritance, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and so much more. We are loaded with blessings. When we pray and seek God, we should start from the standpoint of what we have instead of showing up to God as if we have nothing. Many of the answers we may seek are already inside our Spirit, we need to acknowledge everything we have already been given.
Philemon 1:6, “That the communication of our faith may become effectual by the “acknowledging” of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”.
Our faith becomes powerful, and our prayers are strong when we recognize and acknowledge the good things God has already placed in us through Jesus Christ.
When we comprehend what has already been given to us by God, it should not only change how we live but also change how we pray. Being aware activates our faith and we know God is pleased when we walk in faith.
Stop begging God and begin to acknowledge with thanksgiving, how loaded we are!you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11(NIV). Sometimes, when something good suddenly appears in your life, attribute it to a kiss from God.
