And so it began.
It began with Tucker and his house. It began with a grandmother’s quest to help her family have a home that was safe and wheelchair accessible. It began with our Founder, Sunny Rosanbalm. It began so every child could feel at home.
And so it begins anew. Sunny is retiring from full-time work with Tucker’s House. Sunny’s humble dream and beginnings of one home modification project for Tucker have grown into hundreds of projects across Middle Tennessee. She leaves a thriving organization with multiple team members dedicated to her vision and cause of helping families who have children or young adults with disabilities to make their homes safer and more accessible.
I know many have been personally touched by Sunny throughout the years. My family certainly has. I invite you to join us in wishing her well in her next phase. We are honoring her and her legacy at our Family Dinner on Saturday, May 14, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Factory at Franklin. To learn more or to register please visit www.tuckershouse.org/dinner.
Sunny has made it clear as she retires that she has two main wishes. She wishes for the organization to live on into the future and to expand its capacity to serve more families in Middle Tennessee and beyond.
To honor her wishes and her legacy we are starting a Sunny Rosanbalm Legacy Fund. This fund is reserved specifically for capacity expansion activities of the organization. All monies raised for this fund are designated and restricted for this purpose. The staff and Board of Directors of Tucker’s House believe strongly in this campaign and have dedicated funds to match any donation you give up to the first $10,000 raised! What will your legacy be?
I hope you will join me in giving during this special opportunity. This is a pivotal time for Tucker’s House as we move into our next chapter. It is a challenging and exciting time. I am grateful to be a part of this transition and to help steward this organization into the future and build upon the strong foundation that Sunny has laid.
And so it continues with you…
