At a time when our nation faces cultural confusion, civic illiteracy, and a growing disconnect from our founding principles, there has never been a more important moment for Christians and patriots to stand together. On March 7, The 917 Society will host its 5th Annual Fundraising Gala at the beautiful Ray Stevens CabaRay in Nashville—and this is far more than an evening of inspiration and fellowship. It is an investment in the future of America. This special evening, held from 6:00–9:00 p.m., will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers and entertainment, including Congressman Tim Burchett, Dr. Ken Berry, the Austin Brothers Band, and Rodgar McCalmon, Sr., a gifted portrayer of historical characters. Together, they will celebrate the enduring wisdom of our Founders and the biblical principles that shaped our Constitutional Republic.

The 917 Society exists to ensure that every 8th grader in Tennessee receives a free pocket copy of the United States Constitution on or around Constitution Day—September 17th. Named for that historic day in 1787 when the Constitution was signed in Philadelphia, The 917 Society works tirelessly to restore a proper understanding of America’s founding document and the Christian worldview that influenced it. As we approach the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026, the stakes could not be higher. This milestone offers an unprecedented opportunity to reawaken a spirit of gratitude for the sacrifices of our Founders and to renew our commitment to the principles enshrined in our Constitution. The funds raised at this year’s gala will directly support expanded Constitution Day initiatives and educational outreach leading up to the 250th Anniversary celebration. We believe this anniversary must be more than fireworks and fanfare—it must be a rededication to liberty under God.

In April, The 917 Society will also travel to New York to commemorate a powerful moment in American history: George Washington’s walk to St. Paul’s Chapel following his inauguration in 1789. After taking the oath of office, Washington led members of Congress in prayer, publicly dedicating the new nation to Almighty God. This symbolic act affirmed what many of the Founders understood—that freedom flourishes only when rooted in virtue and faith.

By recreating that historic walk, The 917 Society seeks to remind Americans that our national story is inseparable from our reliance on God’s providence. As Psalm 33:12 declares, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” America’s greatness has never been in her perfection, but in her willingness to seek divine guidance and uphold self-government anchored in moral truth.

The March 7 Gala is your opportunity to partner in this vital mission. Whether you purchase individual tickets or reserve a table, your support will help equip the next generation with the knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution they so desperately need.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, patriotism, and purpose. Together, we can honor our past, strengthen our present, and secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come.
