Can Special Needs Trust Funds Be Used To Pay For School Clothes and Supplies
Question: I want to purchase back-to-school clothes, books for school, and some items for my apartment while in college. Will my special needs trust pay for these items?
Answer: The upcoming purchases will be approved for payment from your special needs trust. We, as trustee, encourage our beneficiaries to continue their education. Some beneficiaries enroll in various classes that will provide them enjoyment and learning opportunities, such as photography, painting, and theater.
