America is aging. For the first time in the history of the world, Seniors will soon outnumber the young. This silver tsunami means that millions more seniors will need care in the coming years. As the need increases, gaps in care are emerging. Over the past 30 years, the American family size has shrunk from seven people to three people to support one senior. Another factor is the distance between family members has grown to 261 miles apart, on average.

Seniors wish to remain in their own home, and with a little help, it’s possible for them to age in place, safely and comfortably. It will take a community effort, however, to provide the help that people will need to stay well at home.
There is a shortage of senior care workers in America, particularly, here in Middle Tennessee! There is an immediate need for people who have a heart for the senior population to act and answer the call to serve.
